Last week we had so much fun beginning to learn and talk about the winter olympics (les olympiques d'hiver). The students showed their creativity as they created their own unique mascot using canadien symbols. We have also been playing some games and listening to different videos to learn about all of the different winter sports. The students have chosen an athlete to learn more about. They are using the chromebooks to find information and are beginning to write a short paragraph on their athlete of choice (olympien/olympienne). There are so many great websites and videos on youtube in both English and French. This week we will be working a little more on this, although we have a busy week ahead. Winter Carnival Week is here!! Please make sure your child is dressed well for our winter activities :) Have a great week!
